Personal Data is highly personal. It allows direct conclusions to be drawn about the individuals behind it (the “Data Subjects”). Therefore, the improper Processing of Personal Data can cause serious violations of the private rights of Data Subjects and can lead to grave harm both for them and for Welthungerhilfe. Accordingly, Welthungerhilfe takes the protection of Personal Data very seriously. Effective protection requires a clear allocation of data protectionrelated responsibilities within Welthungerhilfe. This Data Protection Policy (“Policy”) allocates responsibility for data protection and establishes clear rules of conduct for WHH Employees.
